2013 Preparing Future Faculty & Professionals Pathways Conference, November 7-8, 2013 at the NCAA. This year’s PFFP conference offers targeted seminars, workshops and networking opportunities related to research, teaching, service and transferable skills for becoming a PRO in the academy and beyond. This two-day conference is FREE and OPEN TO ALL GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS, post docs, faculty, industry, alumni and community members to learn and interact with peers and colleagues from various institutions, corporations and foundations. Topics of discussion include Civic Professionalism and Community Engaged Scholarship, Teaching as a Transferrable Skill, Intergenerational Communication, Blended Careers, The Business of Life Sciences and Entrepreneurship.
